Welcome to the SwiftWatch volunteer training course! Here you will learn more about Chimney Swifts, the importance of collecting data, and the basics of completing a SwiftWatch survey.
This course will be useful for Maritimes or Ontario SwiftWatchers, including new volunteers and seasoned veterans. You will work through eleven short sections, and complete the training with a quiz. Quizzes aren’t graded, they’re just for fun!
This course will take around 15-20 minutes to complete, and we hope that it helps you feel more comfortable in embarking on your first (or hundredth!) Chimney Swift survey. All links and contacts provided in the lessons will also be shared at the end of the course.
