To use the NatureCounts app, you will need a NatureCounts account.  You can create one for free by clicking “Sign Up” on the NatureCounts homepage or app login screen, or by visiting https://naturecounts.ca/nc/default/register.jsp.

When you sign up, you will have the option to subscribe to Birds Canada’s eNews, and to select several privacy settings. The email address you enter when signing up may be used by your project manager to communicate with you about your project, so ensure that it is one you check regularly.

Note that you only need one NatureCounts account for all projects you participate in, and the same account also allows you to access all the features of NatureCounts, Motus, and Birds Canada Learn. If you have previously created an account with Birds Canada for any reason, you do not need to create a new one.
