While some features of NatureCounts are available without a login, to access all of the data you will need a NatureCounts account. Accounts are free, and it only takes a few minutes to create one. 

On the NatureCounts homepage, scroll down and look on right-hand side for a button that says “sign up”. Clicking here will take you to a form where you can create your username and password.

Once you have created an account, you can sign in to NatureCounts using the sign-in field on the right side of the homepage, or by clicking the sign-in dropdown on the right side at the top of any page of the NatureCounts website.

If you already have a Birds Canada Learn account, you do not need to create a new account. Your Birds Canada account gives you access to Birds Canada Learn, NatureCounts and Motus.
